Before you book
You need a valid category B learner permit. That means the theory test is done and you've collected the permit from the NDLS. Without it we can't sign off EDT session 1.
Pick manual or automatic before the first hour if you can. Automatic is easier to start, but an automatic licence won't let you drive a manual later. Same price either way.
What to bring
- Your learner permit (not a photo of it)
- Comfortable shoes you can feel the pedals in
- Glasses or contacts if you need them to drive
- Your phone, so we can agree pickup on WhatsApp
What happens in hour one
Paul or Ruairi picks you up near home. Raheny, Finglas, Coolock, Killester, Glasnevin, Clontarf, around there. First EDT session is car controls and safety checks. Seat, mirrors, the pedals, a walk-around of the car.
You will move the car. Dual controls are there if you freeze. We start on quieter streets and work up to the roads you'll see around Killester later.

WhatsApp or call 087 902 2831. Say you're a beginner, where you are, and if you need evenings or weekends. One hour is €60. Six hours is €350. The full 12-hour EDT is €700.
